Star Furniture

Star Furniture started off from a small garage in Bidnija in the beginning of the 1980s as a one man company, with the aim of manufacturing solid, custom made to measure furniture. It was not long before the success of the company forced it to expand the number of employees and move to larger premises in Mosta.

In the begining of the year 2000, the company expanded further it’s premises in Mosta and started to invest in new technological machinery. This made it possible to produce even more refined products so to compete with foreign companies which started to export furniture to Malta.

Later on, Star Furniture felt the need to do it’s part toward the environment by reducing the waste produced. Star Furniture was the first local company to process wood chips (sawdust) and turn them into wood briquettes which are then sold as a chemical-free fuel for BBQs and fireplaces.

The company’s aim for the future is to keep its reputation by keeping its customers satisfied by manufacturing custom, made to measure, solid furniture which will last!
